Wawai Email Sender is operated by Wawai Partners. This policy covers the data Wawai Email
Sender collects and processes when you connect to it — as an AI assistant tool (via MCP) or a
self-service signup through wawaimail.com/connect — and when your own recipients
interact with campaigns sent through it.
What we collect
Account data
Your login email, business name, and the physical mailing address you provide for the CAN-SPAM-required footer on your campaigns. Login uses a one-time magic link sent to your email — we don't store or ask for a password.
Contact list data
If you use our native contact store, the email addresses and group tags you add or import are stored directly with us. If you connect Airtable or Google Sheets instead, we read contact rows from your own base/sheet at send time using credentials you provide — we don't copy or retain that data beyond what a single send needs.
Campaign content
The subject line and HTML content of every campaign you create and send.
Engagement data
For each campaign, we record delivery, open, and click events per recipient — the recipient's email address, which link was clicked (for click events), and a timestamp. We do not collect IP addresses or device/browser information from opens or clicks.
Payment data
Top-ups are processed by Stripe. We never see or store your card details — only the resulting balance amount and a reference to the Stripe Checkout session.
Support requests
If you file a support ticket, its description and your account email are sent to our ticket tracker (BugHerd) so our team can respond.
How we use it
Solely to operate the service: sending your campaigns, tracking their delivery/opens/clicks, managing your contact list, billing, and providing support. We do not sell your data, and we do not use it for advertising.
Where it's processed
Account data, contact data, and campaign data are stored on Amazon Web Services (Postgres,
DynamoDB, S3) in the us-east-1 region. Sending and delivery tracking use Amazon
SES. Payments are processed by Stripe. Support tickets are stored in BugHerd. If you connect
Airtable or Google Sheets as your data source, your contact data also lives with those
providers under their own terms.
Retention
Campaign and engagement records are kept indefinitely so you can review performance on past campaigns at any time. Contact data is kept until you remove it or close your account. Account data is deleted when your account is deprovisioned.
Recipient unsubscribe
Every campaign includes a working unsubscribe link. A recipient who unsubscribes is excluded from future sends from your account.
