Every account gets 1,000 free emails, once, for the lifetime of the account — no card required, and it never refreshes monthly. Past that, every email is billed against a prepaid dollar balance you top up yourself.
There's no overage
A campaign that your balance can't cover doesn't go out partially and fail midway — it's rejected outright before anything sends, with a clear reason and a way to top up.
How pricing works
The price steps down by volume, decided once per campaign, before it sends — not per email in real time, and never revisited afterward. Your assistant projects where that campaign's paid recipients will land your cumulative paid-email count for the current calendar month, and the entire campaign is billed at whichever tier that final count falls into.

Example: starting the month at 0, sending a single 15,000-email campaign bills all 15,000 at the Volume tier ($3.00/1,000) — not a blend of Standard for the first 9,999 and Volume for the rest. Once a campaign is charged, that price is final; a later campaign crossing a new threshold doesn't reach back and re-price this one. The tier resets to Standard on the 1st of each month.
Checking your balance
Ask for your balance any time. You'll get your dollar balance, how many free emails you have left, and how many paid emails you've sent this month. The rate shown there is a baseline — what one more email costs right now — since a large campaign might land in a cheaper tier for its own emails than that baseline suggests.
Adding funds
Top-ups are fixed dollar amounts — $5, $25, $100, $500, $1,000, or a custom amount — added to your balance via a real Stripe checkout link, paid as a one-off purchase, never a subscription. Top-ups are always dollars, never a fixed number of emails, since the price per email depends on the tier a campaign lands in at send time, not at top-up time. Your balance updates automatically once payment completes, usually within a few seconds to a minute.
